The group is committed to 'giving back' wherever possible, assisting a wide range of groups, sporting clubs and charities every year in an effort to deliver positive long term benefits to the area.

Employees throughout the group are also actively encouraged to participate in various fundraising events and take pride in contributing towards the corporate citizenship efforts of the group.

This ongoing commitment to the community is directly aligned with the company's mission statement of 'striving to do it better', 'making a difference' and an outcome of 'a win-win solution'

Efforts are made to improve areas of community, health, safety and environment.

The JWH Group has been significant supporters of Telethon in Western Australia for many years and has received tremendous support from a wide range of suppliers and tradespeople, who donate their time, products and services in the construction of Telethon homes.

The Metropolitan, Regional and Trek homes are Telethon's top fundraising initiatives undertaken annually, raising substantial funds for Telethon's beneficiaries, including the Princess Margaret Hospital for Children, the Telethon Institute for Child Heath Research and the Telethon Speech & Hearing Centre. In 2006 alone, construction of the homes assisted in raising in excess of $1 million.
